New signs have appeared in the Kyiv metro: what do they mean.

The Kyiv metro is starting to test new information displays on escalators. Special stickers have already been installed at the 'Vokzalna' and 'Lybidska' stations. Next week, another will appear at the 'Dorohozhychi' station.
These new displays are intended to remind passengers about safety rules on metro escalators. They initially draw attention to the most common violations, such as the prohibition of running, the importance of holding onto the handrails, not sitting on the stairs, and avoiding getting too close to the stationary parts of the structure.
The stickers also remind passengers to lift their luggage when entering and exiting the escalator.
The press service of the KP 'Kyiv Metro' reported that the main goal of these displays is to create a safe environment for passengers. The new information displays are a step towards improving the culture of metro usage.
We also remind that out-of-town pensioners without a 'Kyivite Card' are not entitled to travel for free on city transport.
