Payments for May are coming to an end: The Pension Fund of Ukraine shared important information with Ukrainians.


Funding of social payments in Ukraine
The Pension Fund of Ukraine reported that as of May 21 of this year, significant funds have been allocated for the financing of social payments for the population. The largest share in this distribution consists of pension payments totaling 56.7 billion hryvnias. The 'Ukrposhta' services and banking institutions ensure the delivery of pensions to citizens.
Ukrposhta delivered pension payments amounting to 9.2 billion hryvnias, while banking institutions financed pensions totaling 47.5 billion hryvnias.
Funding for housing subsidies and benefits amounted to 3110.6 million hryvnias, which is an important area of state support in the field of housing and communal services. Insurance payments were also made in the amount of 2591.3 million hryvnias, more than half of which was allocated for temporary disability payments.
Insurance payments for temporary disability amounted to 1340 million hryvnias.
In May, the Pension Fund of Ukraine provided over 750 thousand services to individuals who approached it. The state continues to actively support socially vulnerable categories of the population by providing necessary financial assistance.
