MP: Unique State Laboratory is Being Driven to Bankruptcy. The Organizers of the 'Scheme' are Named.

The activities of the state scientific research laboratory for quality control of medicinal products may be suspended due to the lack of work for seven months. This is reported with reference to the appeal of MP Oleksandr Kopylenko to law enforcement agencies.
The parliamentary appeal states that this situation is artificial. The leadership of the State Medicines Service, which created the 'scheme' of transferring medicinal products under the control of the newly created private laboratory 'Dobrobut-Likilab', may be behind this.
According to the appeal, the laboratory of the Institute of Public Health stopped receiving referrals for quality control from the State Medicines Service. Everyone who was redirected to the private laboratory returned asking for assistance because it lacks standards and chemicals.
Additionally, Kopylenko points to an audit by the Ministry of Health, which revealed a possible conflict of interest between the employees of the State Medicines Service and the private laboratory 'Dobrobut-Likilab'. A review has been initiated by the National Agency for Corruption Prevention.
The state laboratory is the only scientific institution that has an assessment from the World Health Organization on the quality, safety, and efficacy of medicinal products.
The Limited Liability Company 'Dobrobut-Likilab' was founded in 2023. The owners are Dmytro Ustik and Iryna Ponomarenko. In the same year, the laboratory received a net income of 10.3 million UAH.
