Close the windows. A communication expert warned about the danger of fiber-optic drones.

The new technology of utilizing drones on fiber optics provides new opportunities for unmanned aerial vehicles that are hard to avoid. This type of unmanned aerial vehicle currently lacks effective protection, and there is a need for a budget-friendly and effective solution to combat this threat. Currently, protective nets are the most effective means of ensuring safety.
According to expert Serhiy Beskrestnov, building tunnels of protective nets along the front line is an effective way to combat fiber-optic drones, despite initial skepticism. It is especially important to ensure protection against this threat, as even a small hole in protected windows can lead to significant losses of equipment or loss of life.
Such drones can penetrate forests, place traps on roads, and locate military objects. Even one open window can become a reason for the death of people or losses for the army. Fiber-optic drones pose a serious threat to security.
It has been noted that more attention needs to be paid to the development of protective systems that will ensure the safety of military units. A large amount of funds is currently being spent on traditional weapons that are not always effective on the front line. It is important to find new solutions that will ensure successful defense.
