The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has updated the information on the losses of Russian occupiers as of September 18, 2024.
Losses of Russia in the war as of September 18, 2024
RF in the war with Ukraine as of September 18 suffered the following losses:
- personnel - about 637,010 (+1,130) individuals,
- tanks - 8,691 (+6) units,
- combat armored vehicles - 17,080 (+3) units,
- artillery systems - 18,154 (+25) units,
- MLRS - 1,188 (+0) units,
- air defense systems - 947 (+0) units,
- planes - 369 (+0) units,
- helicopters - 328 (+0) units,
- UAVs - 15,354 (+25),
- cruise missiles - 2,592 (+0) units,
- ships / boats - 28 (+0) units,
- submarines - 1 (+0) unit,
- automotive equipment and tankers - 24,784 (+45) units,
- special equipment - 3,109 (+18).
Specific losses are being clarified.
Activity of enemy fleet as of September 18
- There is one enemy ship in the Black Sea, which is equipped with 'Kalibr' cruise missiles with a total of up to four missiles.
- There are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov.
- There are five enemy ships in the Mediterranean Sea, four of which are equipped with 'Kalibr' cruise missiles with a total of 32 missiles.
Within a day, in the interests of the RF, through the Kerch Strait:
- to the Black Sea - two vessels, one of which continued towards the Bosporus Strait;
- to the Sea of Azov - six vessels, two of which were coming from the Bosporus Strait.
RF continues to violate the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea 1974 (SOLAS) by turning off the Automatic Identification System (AIS).
Currently, the 938th day of full-scale war in Ukraine is ongoing.
