Drivers urgently need to pay attention: PFU has updated requirements.

Car owners in Ukraine need to consider additional costs when registering their vehicle - a fee to the Pension Fund, which ranges from 3% to 5% of the customs value.
Ukrainian auto expert Oleksandr Metolidi emphasizes this in his video review dedicated to explaining the car registration process.
'Many have already figured out the procedures for bringing, customs clearance, repairing, and certifying the vehicle. But when it comes to registration, there is another cost that needs to be anticipated in advance - the Pension Fund,' Metolidi notes.
According to the expert, the contribution amount can be calculated using special customs calculators. 'You can calculate the Pension Fund on the customs calculator along with customs clearance, but it will be a separate line. The amount will range from 3% to 5% of the customs value of your car,' the specialist explains.
Metolidi emphasizes the importance of understanding the components of customs value: 'Customs value is not just the amount of the lot for which you purchased the car. It is calculated using a special formula: the value of the lot plus auction fee if the car was bought at auction, plus the conditional cost of delivery.'
The expert draws attention to the fact that the Ukrainian customs has established a fixed conditional cost for delivery. 'Our customs currently calculates delivery costs as 1600 dollars. Thus, to the Pension Fund, you pay from 3% to 5% of the total customs value of your car, which includes all these components,' Metolidi specifies.
An important point is the timing of the fee payment. 'Let's remember that we pay this tax not during customs clearance, but already when we register the car at the service center,' he emphasizes.
Metolidi advises planning the budget in advance, taking into account all possible expenses: 'So, friends, we anticipate all this in advance, we include all this in your future budget.'
Reminder, pensioner drivers will receive car insurance at half price: Oschadbank has launched a program.
