Today, May 7, the final match of the championship of Ukraine among amateurs for the 2024/2025 season took place in Kyiv at the NTK named after V. Bannikov. This was reported by 'Glavkom' referring to UAF.

In the decisive match, 'Mayak' (Sarny, Rivne region), which reached the final for the first Time in history, faced 'Agrotech' (Tyshkivka, Kirovohrad region), which won the title last year.

As a result, 'Agrotech' took the upper hand in the confrontation and defended their title.

By the way, the UAF referees committee commented on the situation concerning the disallowed goal of FC 'Shakhtar' in the match of the 25th round of the VBET Ukrainian Premier League between FC 'Shakhtar' (Donetsk) and FC 'Koloss' (Kovalivka), which took place on April 19, 2025.

The disallowed goal occurred due to a violation of the Rules of the game - offside position of the FC 'Shakhtar' player. According to the protocol and recommendations for VAR, it is mandatory to check the initial phase of attacking actions for each scored goal (from the interception of the ball to the scored goal in the net). In this episode, when checking the VAR development of the attack by 'Shakhtar' players, it was found that the player 'Shakhtar' No. 6, who was in an offside position, interfered with the play, after which the ball was scored into the FC 'Koloss' net. Due to technical problems in the VAR machine that prevented the graphical confirmation of the offside position of the aforementioned player, it took a long time to confirm the decision regarding the disallowed goal.
