War Returns to the Aggressor: What Zelensky Said About Ukrainian Operations in Russia.


The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, stated that Ukraine is actively developing drone production and strengthening its presence on the territory of the aggressor. He reported this during his daily address on the 1139th day of the war.
The President mentioned that at the meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff, the issue of increasing the production of various types of drones and the development of Ukrainian ground robotic complexes was discussed.
'We need constant growth in production and supply of drone components for our troops, and this year we have good prospects,' emphasized the President.
Particular attention was given to drones with fiber optic control systems during the meeting. Since the beginning of 2025, over 20 new certified models of such drones have been produced in Ukraine. The President ordered contracts to be made with manufacturers for maximum production volumes of this product.
Zelensky also noted that the production of long-range strike drones, which are used for attacks on Russian military infrastructure, is developing successfully. The President stated that by the end of the year, the Defense Forces will receive the necessary number of these drones.
The meeting also reviewed the report of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces regarding the situation at the front and the presence of Ukrainian troops in Russia. The President emphasized the need for active actions in border areas and the protection of Ukrainian territories.
Concluding the address, the President reported on the work with international partners regarding responses to Russian strikes and the preparation of new defense packages for Ukraine.
