Hungary's veto will not hinder: Kallas revealed that the EU is preparing for Ukraine.

The European Union is preparing an action plan in case Hungary blocks Ukraine's Eurointegration
Head of European diplomacy, Kaja Kallas, announced the European Union's readiness for a possible blocking of Ukraine's EU accession process by Hungary. She emphasized that conflicts between states should not interfere with Ukraine's Eurointegration.
'We have plan B and plan V. But our focus is on plan A, which is to gain the support of everyone,' Kallas emphasized.
Kallas also noted that the European Union is actively engaged in dialogue with Hungary to resolve differences and eliminate the potential veto. She considers mutual responsibility and cooperation in this matter to be important.
Readiness for plan 'B'
At the same Time, Kallas stated that European institutions are preparing for a scenario where a compromise with Hungary is not reached. 'We are already working on plan B, but I will not disclose its details. We are still in the process,' she added.
Strategic issue
The Head of European diplomacy emphasized the importance of Ukraine's Eurointegration for the region, calling it 'reunification'. This demonstrates the strategic significance of expanding the EU in the context of modern geopolitical challenges.
Against the backdrop of tension between Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orban and Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky regarding Eurointegration, the issue of Ukraine's EU membership remains relevant and discussed.
