Ukraine and the USA are discussing strategic plans and support
Defense Minister Rustem Umerov met with U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin.
According to Umerov, the current situation at the front, key challenges, and the needs of the Ukrainian army were discussed at the meeting. There was also an emphasis on strategic planning for 2025, particularly regarding the supply of weapons, equipment, and support for military units.
'Special attention was paid to preparations for the next meeting within the 'Ramstein' format. Ukraine and its partners continue to work on solutions that can strengthen our defense capabilities and bring us closer to victory. We strive for security, stability, and a just peace for Ukraine and the entire democratic world. We are very grateful to the USA for their leadership role in coordinating international support for Ukraine,' Umerov noted.
