Ukraine has 'impressive' achievements in artillery production - Media.

Ukraine has started producing NATO-caliber artillery to reduce dependency on Western aid. Forbes writes that this does not guarantee victory, but without it, Ukraine would have been lost.
Artillery remains the main element of battlefield tactics despite the growing role of drones and electronic warfare. Since the beginning of the war, Ukraine has invested in the production of 155mm artillery shells as stocks of Soviet 152 caliber quickly ran out.
Serial production of 155mm shells began in September. Current production volumes are limited, but by the end of the year, these volumes are expected to triple. Ukraine also has an agreement with the German company Rheinmetall to develop capacities for ammunition production. Once these capacities are built, Ukraine will be able to meet its needs for 155mm shells.
Since 2014, Ukraine has been developing the self-propelled howitzer 2S22 'Bohdana'. It has a firing range of up to 40 kilometers with standard ammunition and up to 50 kilometers with extended-range ammunition.
Ukraine has significantly increased production of the 'Bohdana' howitzer and has become a European leader in this field. Although artillery production continued in the third year of the war, it was a complex process as Ukraine did not have its own industrial base for this.
Ukraine's efforts to increase domestic artillery production are a vital component of its military strategy.
