Ukraine exported agricultural products worth 2.1 billion dollars.

In March 2025, Ukraine's agricultural product exports reached 5.4 million tons, amounting to 2.1 billion US dollars. Agricultural products make up 58% of the country's total exports, which equals 3.6 billion US dollars. The most important items in the export are corn and sunflower oil.
Top 5 export categories:
Corn - 514 million US dollars, 2.4 million tons.
Sunflower oil - 503 million US dollars, 441 thousand tons.
Wheat - 254 million US dollars, 1.1 million tons.
Soybeans - 150 million US dollars, 370 thousand tons.
Poultry meat - 95 million US dollars, 41 thousand tons.
Compared to March 2024, export value increased by 87 million US dollars, or 4%. This was made possible by maintaining strong positions of more profitable goods - sunflower oil, soybeans, and poultry meat, as well as an overall increase in agricultural product prices.
The average export prices in March 2025 were: corn - 215 US dollars per ton, sunflower oil - 1,141 US dollars per ton, wheat - 225 US dollars per ton, soybeans - 407 US dollars per ton, poultry meat - 2,300 US dollars per ton. This price situation on global markets contributed to the increase in the value of Ukrainian agricultural exports.
There was also a recorded increase in the export of processed products. For example, compared to March 2024, the export of bakery products increased by 24% (to 29.5 million US dollars), butter - by 254% (to 9.87 million US dollars), and cheeses - by 32% (to 5.3 million US dollars).
Ukraine's trading partners in March were Turkey (270.8 million US dollars), Italy (171.1 million US dollars), Spain (170.4 million US dollars), Egypt (162.4 million US dollars), and the Netherlands (121.6 million US dollars). In total, Ukrainian agricultural products were imported by 36 countries with volumes exceeding 10 million US dollars each.
This indicates the successful development of Ukraine's agricultural sector and that Ukrainian agricultural products are competitive in the global market. The agricultural sector makes a significant contribution to the country's economy and supports foreign trade.
