Olympic Participant on FBI's Top-10 Most Wanted List.

Canadian snowboarder Ryan Wedding is wanted by the FBI
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is looking for former Canadian snowboarder Ryan Wedding, who has made it onto the top-10 most wanted list. He represented Canada at the 2002 Olympics in parallel giant slalom, where he finished in 24th place. However, he was arrested in 2010 and sentenced to 4 years in prison for drug trafficking.
Currently, Wedding is accused of creating a network to sell cocaine from Colombia to the USA and Canada, as well as committing three murders and attempting to murder. The FBI is offering a $10 million reward for any information leading to Wedding's arrest. He is believed to be in Mexico.
Interestingly, Russian figure skaters Ivan Bukin and Alexandra Stepanova, who are seeking neutral status to participate in the Olympics, have expressed support for sanctioned propagandist singer Shaman (Yaroslav Dronov). This has caused outrage as Shaman appears on the sanctions lists of Ukraine, Canada, and the EU. Bukin is following Shaman's page on Instagram, and Stepanova actively engages with his posts in the comments.
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has expressed a desire to allow Russian athletes to qualify for the 2026 Olympics. However, the IOC does not pressure the International Biathlon Union (IBU) or the International Ski Federation (FIS). They are looking for a solution that will allow neutral athletes to participate in the Winter Olympic Games.
The 2026 Olympics will take place in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy.
