An accident occurred in the village of Shpykiv, Tulchin district, in which one person died. This was reported by the rescuers of Vinnytsia.
A woman was trapped in the passenger compartment of the Skoda car. Rescuers who arrived at the scene used special equipment to free the 36-year-old passenger, but she showed no signs of life. The driver of the car was taken to the hospital.
The police of Vinnytsia reported that the driver of the Skoda lost control, went off the shoulder, and crashed into a tree. As a result of the accident, a 35-year-old passenger died and the driver was taken to the hospital. A toxicology test is being conducted on the driver.
A criminal proceeding has been initiated in this case under Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - 'Violation of traffic safety rules or operation of transport by persons who operate vehicles if they caused the death of the victim'.
