The Rada responded on what position Umierov may take.

The Government of Ukraine has begun the process of renewal, and all eyes are already on the formation of the new Cabinet of Ministers. According to people's deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak, Minister of Defense Rustem Umierov may receive a new position in the National Security Council of Ukraine.
What awaits Umierov?
“Rustem Umierov remains in Ukraine, and will go to the NSDC. It is still unclear whether as Secretary or Deputy. Or as a presidential advisor,” Zheleznyak explained.
The deputy also emphasized that the decision may change, since it was previously discussed that Umierov could become an official in the Ukrainian embassy in the USA, but this position is already held by Olha Stefanishyna due to problems with coordination with Washington.
Recall that on July 17, the Verkhovna Rada supported the appointment of Yulia Svyrydenko as Prime Minister of Ukraine with the support of 262 people's deputies. Zheleznyak also mentioned that during the formation of the new government, President Zelensky mainly trusts people to whom he can give responsible positions.
A brief summary: The Government of Ukraine has begun the renewal process, due to which Minister of Defense Rustem Umierov may become a member of the National Security Council of Ukraine. The decision on the new Cabinet of Ministers is not yet final, and the options for Umierov's positions may change in the future, following political agreements and internal government processes.Read also
