The night of June 26 became very frightening for the residents of the Moscow region due to a series of explosions. The Mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin, reported that several drones attacked the capital of Russia.

According to reports, the explosions occurred in Zelenograd and Dedovsk. One of the drones fell in Zelenograd, and emergency services were dispatched there.

Russians recorded five explosions within five minutes. Additionally, five flights were redirected from Vnukovo to Sheremetyevo.

Mayor Sobyanin noted that the Russian air defense shot down two drones that were heading towards Moscow. Rescuers are working at the site of the debris. Witnesses reported seeing fires and columns of smoke over the buildings.

Ryazan region affected

The Ryazan region also suffered from drone attacks and explosions. Residents heard the sounds of a drone and from 10 to 17 explosions in the area of the Dyagilevo airfield. People in Moscow and the Moscow region also heard the explosions.

As a result of the series of explosions and drone attacks in the Moscow region and Moscow, the level of alarm and tension among the local population has significantly increased. Aviation flights were redirected, and rescue services are working at the scenes to prevent potential consequences and threats to the safety of citizens.
