A 5.5 magnitude earthquake shook central Pakistan. This was reported by the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ). The epicenter of the disaster was located about 149 km west of the city of Multan.
This earthquake was shallow - the focus was at a depth of 10 km. Currently, there is no information about destruction or casualties.

Iran also recorded tremors - earthquakes of magnitude 5.22 shook the capital Tehran and the province of Qom. The Qom province houses the protected nuclear facility Fordow. On the night of June 3, an earthquake of magnitude 5.8 also occurred near the coast of Turkey in the Mediterranean Sea, reported Turkey's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD).
