Canada supports Ukraine's invitation to the North Atlantic Alliance and the granting of full membership over Time. This was stated by Canada's Minister of Foreign Affairs Mélanie Joly in Montreal. She also added that she believes in this invitation and is confident that Ukraine should be part of NATO. According to Joly, it is necessary to cooperate with other countries and support Ukraine's military efforts. She also noted that more than twenty countries have already concluded defense cooperation agreements with Ukraine. However, Joly emphasized that this is only a temporary solution, as Ukraine should join NATO in the long term.
