A fighter jet of the People's Liberation Army of China crashed during exercises in Hainan province, reports 'Glavcom' referencing The Epoch Times.
The pilot managed to eject with a parachute, while the aircraft struck the ground and exploded.
Investigations and remediation of the crash effects have already begun.
The PLA did not disclose the type of the crashed aircraft.
According to the video, the fighter jet may be a model Shenyang J-15 or Shenyang J-11.
The Chinese army rarely reports on the crashes of its fighter jets.
Aviation accident in the USA
On March 9, an aviation accident occurred in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
A small plane with five passengers on board crashed in a parking lot near a nursing home.
All those on board the plane survived. No one on the ground was harmed.
The plane began to lose altitude and collided with the ground during an emergency landing.
