In Kharkiv region, the Security Service of Ukraine detained two agents of the Russian military intelligence. A man and a woman, who worked together, used volunteering as a cover. Disguised as volunteers, they helped homeless animals, while in fact correcting Russian missile and bombing strikes on Kharkiv and its outskirts. They also recorded geolocations for targeted strikes, including spare deployment points, checkpoints, and medical facilities. In addition, the agents attempted to obtain information from local residents, which they passed on to a militant in the east who cooperated with the Russians. Both agents have been detained and informed of their suspicion on charges of treason. They face life imprisonment with asset confiscation.
Agents of the Russian special service preparing a terrorist attack in Rivne were detained
The Security Service detained two agents of the Russian special service who were preparing a terrorist attack in the center of Rivne. According to the agency, the suspects planned to blow up a homemade explosive device near the district police department. The occupiers planned to activate the explosive with a mobile phone connected to the device. These agents were detained during a special operation. Earlier, the Security Service also detained a man who tried to plant an explosive device under the railway track in Rivne region.
Another Russian informant was also detained by the Security Service. She revealed enemy positions and the movement directions of the Armed Forces units in Donetsk region.
