The State Department reported that the United States welcomed any assistance from foreign allies and partners aimed at strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities.
This was how they commented on reports of potential military support for Ukraine from the Republic of Korea, Ukrinform reports.
"Of course, we welcome any country that supports our Ukrainian partners who continue to defend their territorial integrity and sovereignty," Deputy State Department Spokesperson Vedant Patel told reporters.
He reminded that the international coalition providing Ukraine with security and defense assistance includes over 50 countries worldwide.
"We will continue to work with our allies and partners to strengthen Ukrainian defense, as well as to build its institutions and support Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic aspirations," Patel added.
The State Department representative also emphasized that Russia's actions do not only threaten the security of Ukraine or Europe but pose a threat to the world order as a whole.
