Ukraine mobilizes two to three times more people for the army than in winter
According to The New York Times, Ukraine mobilizes up to 30 thousand people monthly for the army. This is two to three times more than in winter.
"The Ukrainian authorities refused to share the numbers on conscription, citing that this information is confidential. Three military experts familiar with these numbers said that since May, when the new mobilization law came into force, Kyiv has been calling up to 30 thousand people per month", the newspaper reports.
Experts claim that this number of military personnel is approximately the same as in the Russian army. However, this information has not been officially confirmed.
It is worth reminding that now it is possible to register in the army through the mobile application "Reserve+". In addition, citizens who evade military registration may face a fine.
It has also been announced that in Ukraine, it is now possible to receive a military registration document with a QR code in just 15 minutes.
