Defense forces destroyed up to fifteen UAVs flying to Kyiv overnight – KMVA.


Ukrainian defenders neutralized a dozen and a half striking drones tonight, which Russian forces tried to use for an attack on Kyiv. This was reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration on Telegram.
The fifteenth air attack on Kyiv in 25 days of October! And again, the enemy - the Russian Federation - used exclusively unmanned aerial vehicles. They were launched from the territory of the Kursk region and Krasnodar Krai. Loitering munitions approached the capital in two large waves. The first air alarm in Kyiv was announced around midnight, and the second Time - at approximately three in the morning. In total, the night alarms lasted about 4 hours.
The head of the KMVA, Serhiy Popko, noted that during this time, up to a dozen and a half enemy drones that threatened the capital were detected and neutralized. Debris from enemy drones caused a fire in the open area of the Darnytskyi district. The fire was quickly contained.
Information about the victims is still incomplete and is being clarified, added Popko.

Recall that on the night of October 23, 2024, the enemy attacked Ukraine using 81 Shahed-type attack drones and unidentified types of drones.

Enemy drones have also been detected in the airspace of the Kyiv region. Air defense is working on destroying them. Residents are urged to maintain information silence and not disclose the work of Ukrainian defenders.
