Posters in Rome call for peace with Russia
This summer, billboards across Italy were filled with slogans: "Russia is not our enemy." Some of them, which appeared in Rome, call: "Enough money for weapons for Ukraine and Israel. We want peace. We reject war." This was reported by CNN.
According to the publication, the official reaction of local authorities to the posters was different: in some places, officials removed them, while in others they allowed them to remain until the end of the advertising term.
"In Rome, the posters caused outrage in the city hall, as they featured the name of the city and its official symbol. Local police and the advertising company owning the billboards in Rome were ordered to remove all the posters," the statement said.
