Russia attacked Odesa with drones
Today, May 5, Russia attacked Odesa with strike drones. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing the city's mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov.
On Monday, Russia again launched drones at Odesa. According to Trukhanov, there were multiple explosions in the city. It was particularly dangerous in the Kyiv and Peresyp districts, as well as in the center, and the mayor also mentioned Foton and Arcadia.
Currently, there is no air raid alert in Odesa and the region, the danger has passed. There is no information on casualties and destruction as a result of today’s attack.
Widespread damage to civilian infrastructure
Recall that on the night of May 1, the enemy attacked Odesa with strike drones. One of the UAVs hit a multi-storey building. Footage of the destruction is published by local pages, reports 'Glavkom'.
The head of the Odesa Regional State Administration Oleg Kiper noted that there are many damages to civilian infrastructure in the city, including residential buildings. In some places, fires broke out. Currently, all relevant services are working to eliminate the consequences of the attack. Information on casualties is being clarified.
Earlier, the mayor of Odesa Hennadiy Trukhanov reported that explosions began at 23:30 and by 00:28 more than 12 powerful explosions had occurred in the city. Enemy 'Shaheds' are attacking the city from the sea.
According to local reports, fires started in several places in the city. Huge columns of smoke are rising over Odesa.
By the way, in the evening of April 29, Russian troops shelled Dnipro. The city was under attack from strike drones.
The enemy launched a massive attack with drones. At least five damaged private houses are known.
It is currently known that as a result of the shelling, one person was injured. It is also known that the Russian attack claimed the life of one person.
