Autumn Forecast: How Long Will the Warm Weather Delight Ukraine.

In autumn 2024, more warm days than cold ones are expected in Ukraine. The average monthly temperature in September and October will be 2-3 degrees above normal. However, in November the temperature will return to normal levels for this Time of year.
The spokesperson of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, Natalia Ptukha, reported this at a briefing on September 18.
Regarding precipitation, there will be a deficit in September, but the situation will normalize in October and November. Ptukha noted that the meteorological autumn has not yet begun, as the average daily temperature in the region must be no more than 15 degrees for several consecutive days.
The specialist emphasized the warming trend observed in recent years. Warm periods are becoming longer and more intense, while cold periods are becoming shorter and less severe. This applies to all seasons.
Speaking about winter, Ptukha noted that meteorologists should be cautious in their forecasts. Although fewer and less intense cold periods are expected, Ukrainians should still be prepared for various weather conditions.
The meteorologist stressed that despite the warming trend, seasonality in Ukraine remains, and winter weather phenomena will still be observed, perhaps in a milder form.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center published a warm and sunny weather forecast for the weekend.
