On the first day of June 2025, a delegation from Ukraine, led by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Yuliya Svyrydenko, arrived in Washington for talks with the American side. This was reported by Andriy Yermak, head of the President's Office, on social media.

'We will actively promote important issues for Ukraine. Our agenda is quite comprehensive,' - wrote the head of the Office in his message.

The delegation included representatives from Ukraine's Ministry of Defense and the President's Office. Yermak emphasized that the team intends to actively advance key issues for Ukraine during the visit to the USA.

Agenda of the Talks

The plans of the Ukrainian delegation include discussions on defense support and the current situation on the battlefield. There is also a plan to address the issue of increasing sanctions pressure on Russia, including the bill from Senator Graham. The delegation also plans to consider the implementation of the Agreement for the Establishment of the Reconstruction Investment Fund and the humanitarian issue of the return of deported Ukrainian children from Russia, as well as support for this process from the USA.

Meetings with representatives of both American parties that support Ukraine, as well as with the team of US President Donald Trump, will also be part of the delegation's work schedule. The negotiations will also cover discussions on the results of previous meetings in Istanbul and countering Russian propaganda related to church issues.
