Floods in Europe: 'Ukrzaliznytsia' warned of changes in trains to Ukraine.


'Ukrzaliznytsia' updated information about the movement of trains due to the disaster in Central Europe. This was reported on the official telegram channel of the company.
As of Tuesday morning:
- the Vienna–Kyiv–Vienna train continues to run as the Budapest–Kyiv–Budapest.
- the Vienna–Chop–Vienna train with Hungarian Intercity class wagons also runs as the Budapest–Chop–Budapest.
- the Prague–Przemyśl–Prague train is being restored via a bypass route through the Petrovice u Karviné station without entering Ostrava.
- the Prague–Chop–Prague train will continue to follow the detour with a slight delay.
Also, due to technical problems on the section between Zahony and Tuzsér, bus transfers have been arranged for trains 146 Chop–Budapest and 644 Debrecen–Mukachevo, with assistance from Hungarian coordinators.
'All trains connecting Ukraine with Warsaw, Chelm, Przemyśl, Košice, Budapest, Zahony, Chișinău run on schedule,' said 'Ukrzaliznytsia'.
We remind you that heavy rains and floods caused by storm 'Boris' continue to wreak havoc in Central and Eastern Europe. The death toll has reached 17 people.
Tens of thousands of people were forced to leave their homes in Poland, Austria, Czechia, Hungary, Romania, and Slovakia. The flood breached dams, flooded streets, and caused power outages. In some places, entire neighborhoods were underwater.
Due to the floods, Poland declared a state of emergency in the southern regions. The governments of the countries continue to fight the consequences of the disaster and provide assistance to those affected.
