Zelensky Criticizes Orban's Policy

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his dissatisfaction with the policy of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban. He labeled it as anti-Ukrainian and anti-European, believing that Orban uses the conflict in Ukraine to achieve his political goals, which he considers dishonest.

Zelensky asserts that Orban's stance does not reflect the opinion of all of Hungary, unlike Russia, where Putin's position is seen as representative of the entire society. The Ukrainian president emphasized that Orban spreads misleading information that only fuels tension between citizens and deteriorates relations between countries.

Orban maintains good relations with Putin and poor ones with Ukraine due to energy issues. 'He thinks he has chosen a winner, but I am confident he will lose,' noted the Ukrainian president, highlighting the importance of historical perspective.

Zelensky expressed his disappointment regarding relations with Orban after being kept unaware of a planned visit to Kyiv last July. 'Is this a sincere relationship? Look, I don't believe it,' he stated.

The Position of the Ukrainian President

Zelensky condemns the use of his image in the election campaign in Hungary. He considers it unacceptable and denies his support. According to the Rating Group institute, only 11% of Ukrainians have a positive attitude towards Orban, making him one of the least popular politicians in Ukraine.
