Specialists from 'Naftogaz of Ukraine' emphasized the importance of detection and correct actions in case of a gas leak that can save lives and prevent accidents. In particular, obvious signs of a gas leak include a strong smell, unusual sounds, and yellowing of plants. Upon detecting a gas leak, it is essential to immediately shut off the gas supply, ventilate the premises, and evacuate people. It is important to avoid using electrical appliances, matches, and lighters. In case of a gas leak, it is better to contact the emergency gas service.
