MZS: Sybiga is heading to the 'Weimar+' meeting and the GLOBSEC forum.


The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andrii Sybiga, will travel to Rome this week at the invitation of his Italian colleague, Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani, to participate in the meeting of ministers in the 'Weimar+' format.
'The scheduled participation of Minister Andrii Sybiga in the 'Weimar+' meeting with key European partners of Ukraine is confirmed. The meeting will take place in Rome this week,' said the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Heorhii Tykhyi.
The main goal of Sybiga's visit is to convince European partners of the necessity to increase pressure on Russia and to enhance the volume of assistance to Ukraine in order to achieve peace.
'Weimar Plus' meeting in Rome
On Thursday, June 12, a ministerial meeting of 'Weimar Plus', chaired by Italy's Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani, will be dedicated to Ukraine and European security. Foreign ministers from Germany, Poland, Spain, Great Britain, and France, as well as representatives of EU and NATO institutions, are invited to attend.
Sybiga's trip to Italy and the Czech Republic is part of the activation of Ukrainian diplomacy to ensure long-term support from European partners in countering Russian aggression.
The meeting of foreign ministers in the 'Weimar+' format in Rome, chaired by Italy, is an important step in strengthening cooperation between Ukraine and European countries to ensure regional security and support for Ukrainian statehood.Read also
