The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine signed defense contracts worth 5 billion UAH
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has signed two major defense contracts with Ukrainian manufacturers for a total amount of about 5 billion UAH. This information was announced by the head of the Ministry of Defense, Rustem Umerov, on his Facebook page after signing the agreement during a working trip by President Volodymyr Zelensky.
“This is extremely important for strengthening the defense capability of our state. After all, we buy and support our own, contributing to the development of our economy and industry,” Umerov noted.
During the trip, the delegation also visited defense industry enterprises to familiarize themselves with their work. Deputy Minister of Defense Dmytro Klymenkov emphasized that Ukraine continues to invest in the Ukrainian manufacturer and significantly strengthens its defense potential.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense approved hundreds of new weapons samples for operation.
