No Keys Needed: The First Door Lock That 'Reads' Its Owner's Veins.

The World's First Door Lock with Biometric Palm Vein Identification
Huawei has introduced its new development - the Huawei Smart Door Lock 2, which uses biometric identification based on palm vein patterns. Using artificial intelligence and a 'cat's eye' sensor, the lock recognizes the vein patterns on the palms and unlocks the door. The lock can also be opened with a fingerprint, NFC, a digital code, or facial recognition. A total of four lock models are available, including the flagship Ultra version, the details of which have not yet been disclosed. Huawei Smart Door Lock 2 is one of the most secure solutions on the market, as the palm vein recognition technology is more reliable compared to traditional identification methods.
The Hong Kong publication South China Morning Post noted the mysterious deaths of Chinese specialists in the field of artificial intelligence over the past few years, but this is not related to the presentation of the Huawei Smart Door Lock 2.
