Kellogg stated about the desire of Ukraine and Russia to 'exit the game'.

The special envoy of the US president for the Russia-Ukraine war, Keith Kellogg, stated that the final decision on any future 'peace agreement' will be made solely by Ukraine.
He made this statement to reporters after negotiations at NATO headquarters in Brussels on February 17, according to AFP.
'The decision of the Ukrainians is a Ukrainian decision. Zelensky is the elected leader of a sovereign nation, and these decisions are his decisions, and no one will impose them on the elected leader of a sovereign nation,' he emphasized.
The Trump envoy noted that his task is to 'facilitate' an agreement that would guarantee Ukraine's sovereignty and security. At the same Time, according to Kellogg, both Russia and Ukraine are showing readiness to cease hostilities, as neither side can achieve a decisive victory on the battlefield. 'It seems that both sides want to 'exit the game' right now,' he said.
It is reported that last week the Donald Trump administration intensified efforts aimed at starting the negotiation process between Russia and Ukraine to end the full-scale war unleashed by Moscow.
Earlier, Volker talked about the stage of the Trump administration's work regarding the peace plan for Ukraine.
