“The deficit is huge.” The National Guard member explained how many more Ukrainians need to be mobilized.


Ukraine needs to additionally mobilize 160,000 people to address the significant deficit in qualified personnel. This was reported by the commander of the UAV 'Holy Sky' Andriy Otchenash. According to him, the need for personnel arises in all units, not just the infantry.
The commander explained that mobilizing such a number of people is necessary so that they have Time to prepare and be ready for battle. He also noted that it is better to mobilize young people, as they are physically better prepared.
Earlier it was reported that the Defense Forces plan to mobilize another 160,000 people. Additionally, a recruitment service has been created in Ukraine that helps Ukrainians find optimal military vacancies. There is also the opportunity to join the Drone Army.
The Verkhovna Rada passed laws extending martial law and general mobilization for 90 days. Thus, martial law and mobilization will be in effect until February 2025.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved changes to strengthen military registration and track legal violations. Now, territorial recruitment centers, the SBU, intelligence agencies, and the National Police will exchange data through an electronic system.
