DeepState reported how the so-called 'ceasefire' affected the situation at the front.

Ukrainian territories were occupied by the enemy in April 2025. In total, 175 square kilometers were occupied. This information is provided by the analytical project DeepState based on data from Glavkom.
It is noted that the enemy actively conducted operations at the end of March and the beginning of April, and most of the advances occurred during this period.
The greatest advance occurred near Sukha Balka and Kalynove, accounting for approximately one third of all losses for the month. Advances were also recorded in the areas of Rozliv and Konstantinople (43 square kilometers), Katerynivka (30 square kilometers), Sady near Nadiivka (11 square kilometers), and Andriivka (15 square kilometers). In total, these areas constitute 85% of all enemy advances.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, after the ceasefire, the enemy intensified their actions on all sections of the front. The most significant attacks are observed in the Pokrovskyi (34.3%), Kurskyi (13.8%), Lyman (12.9%), and Toretskyi (11.8%) sectors.
«This vividly demonstrates the occupiers' desire for peace. Despite technical problems, the enemy is using infantry and combined attacks. It is strange that the main assault operations are being carried out on motorcycles, buggies, and ATVs, while the use of armored vehicles is decreasing,» - reported DeepState.
It is also worth noting that the occupiers have increased the intensity of hostilities despite promises of a ceasefire. This was reported by Glavkom, citing Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi.
In particular, Syrskyi noted: «Despite loud statements about readiness for a ceasefire during the May holidays, the occupiers have significantly increased the intensity of hostilities and focused on the Pokrovskyi direction. They are trying to break through the defense of our troops in this direction and reach the administrative border of the Dnipropetrovsk region.»
Syrskyi added that «daily, the Russian command throws new units into battle, sacrificing their soldiers and reporting on fictional successes and victories.»
