Prices from 30 euros: ski resort in Switzerland recognized as the best in the world.


Omio website, which handles travel bookings, conducted a study of the best ski resorts in the world. They evaluated over 6 thousand resorts based on 11 different factors, such as ticket prices, customer ratings, access to a ski school, and the number of activities at the resort. The best ski resort in the world was recognized as Arosa Lenzerheide in Switzerland.

Arosa Lenzerheide resort scored an impressive 91.73, surpassing Solden in Austria, which scored 91.68.
According to Omio's research, Arosa Lenzerheide resort also received a high rating from customers - 4.7 out of 5 stars. The cost of a one-day pass for adults is 89 euros, for youth - 59 euros, for children - 29 euros.
For skiers and snowboarders, there are 225 kilometers of trails with reliable snow cover and 43 lifts for transport. The resort also hosts seven competitions during the season, including the FIS Arosa World Cup ski cross and Swiss Snow Walk and Run.
Overall, Switzerland boasts five resorts that made it to the top 20 in the world, while Austria has 12 such resorts. In addition, a new ski resort, GORO Mountain Resort, is being built in the Carpathians, which is expected to open by 2029.
