Czech company secretly supplied critical equipment for Ukrainian nuclear power plant.

Czech company delivered drives for reactors to the Ukrainian nuclear power plant
The Czech company Plzeňská Škoda JS, part of the ČEZ group, supplied eight new drives for reactors to Ukraine's Rivne nuclear power plant. This was reported by Novinky.
Company spokesperson Karel Samec explained that due to attacks from Russia, the delivery of equipment was challenging, but these drives guarantee the stable operation of the reactor and its regulation, which is crucial for electricity supply in Ukraine.
Karel Samec mentioned that one of the four nuclear power plants in Ukraine is located in Rivne. Additionally, the company ÚJV Řež, which belongs to the ČEZ group, supplied a special cable to strengthen the reactor's protective casing.
Another company in the group, ÚJV Řež, provided the manufacturing and delivery of a special cable to reinforce the reactor's protective structure.
The company Škoda JS also sent 76 accumulators to the Rivne nuclear power plant for replacement if necessary. The contract's cost remains confidential.
Škoda JS is the only manufacturer of drives for Ukrainian nuclear power plants, apart from Russia. The company anticipates further cooperation with the South Ukraine and Khmelnytsky nuclear power plants.
It is worth noting that the Ukrainian energy sector has once again suffered due to aggression from the Russian Federation. Enemy shelling led to the disconnection of one of the power transmission lines connecting the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant to the Ukrainian energy system. Ukraine needs 19 air defense systems to protect its energy infrastructure from Russian bombing.
