Biden and advisors discussed the possibility of attacks on Iran's nuclear facilities.

U.S. President Joe Biden discussed the possibility of strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities with his national security team, but no decisions have been made yet. According to the American publication Axios, White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan presented the president with options for a potential attack on Iran's nuclear facilities if they start developing nuclear weapons by January 20. Information about this meeting was kept secret for several weeks.
Axios notes that such a U.S. strike would be an adventure, as Biden promised not to allow Iran to develop nuclear weapons. However, it could also lead to a new conflict. According to sources, Biden has not yet made any decision regarding a potential strike.
'Biden and his national security team discussed various options and scenarios during a meeting that took place about a month ago, but the president has not made a final decision,' the report states.
A person with information on the matter stated that the meeting at the White House was not a result of new intelligence and that it was part of a discussion of 'smart scenario planning' regarding the U.S. response to possible Iranian actions, such as enriching uranium to 90% purity by January 20.
Another source reported that there are currently no active discussions at the White House regarding potential military actions against Iran's nuclear facilities.
Some of Biden's aides believe that Iran's nuclear program development and the conflict with Israel create a necessity for the U.S. to strike.
Iran's nuclear program escalation
According to reports, during Biden's Time in office, Iran's nuclear program has advanced significantly, and Iran is now effectively on the brink of nuclear weapons. For instance, they have raised the level of uranium enrichment to 60%, which is close to the necessary level for producing nuclear weapons. Additionally, modern Iranian centrifuges can achieve this result in a matter of days.
Even if Iran decides to create a bomb, it will take at least a year for its development. According to Israeli intelligence, Iran will need no less than a year for this.
